Established in 1993, Bedford Stainless Engineering is now recognised as one of the UK's most respected suppliers of stainless steel tanks and fabrications. The business originally started out modifying stainless steel tanks and doing small stainless fabrication work for various local machinery dealers and has subsequently evolved into a skilled, efficient, professional company that is capable and equipped to take on your most demanding fabrication requirements. The highly proficient engineers have extensive knowledge of the Brewing, Soft Drinks and Chemical Industries and are fully aware of the standard of requirements and expectations of all sectors.

We offer a fully flexible service to suit your individual needs whether you would like us to fabricate an item to your own specification or use our experts to survey your site, offer our advice and recommendations, design and build your stainless steel tanks and then finally position your completed tanks at your premises and all done with the minimum of fuss and the maximum efficiency.

We undertake the manufacture of stainless steel tanks from 1 litre to 250,000 litres (the largest size practical to transport in the UK). We have carried out projects for many UK and overseas customers a sample of which is noted here:

	Hammerite: Storage and mixing tanks up to 30,000 ltrs (5 tanks currently on site)
	Cuprinol: Supply of 2 x 4,000 ltr, 3 x 7,000 ltr, 5 x 12,000 ltr and 2 x 80,000 ltr (12 tanks currently on site)
	Grants of Girvan: Supply of 3 x 80,000 ltr yeast storage tanks
	Ronseal: Supply of new tank farm, 9 x 12,000 ltr tanks, 6 x 30,000 ltr tanks and 4 x 50,000 tanks (19 tanks currently on site)
	Wychwood Brewery: Supply of 3.8 mtr diameter Mash Tun with wedge wire floor and automate Spent Grain removal.
	Brakspear Brewery: Manufacture of copper-topped Wort Kettle (site joined and welded)
	Ringwood Brewery: Supply of Wort Kettle and internal Wort Heater, supply of Hot Liquor tanks, supply of new and used Conditioning Tanks (over 10 tanks currently on site)
	Dangote Food Company: Supply of full juice production and blending plant which has been exported to Nigeria.
	David Berryman Ltd: Supply of juice blending and processing factory.

As we progress into the new Millennium, plans are forming for a new 10,000 sq ft custom built factory for this expanding Company. The new premises will house 10 tonne capacity overhead cranes and new state of the art forming equipment. It is planned that the new offices will also contain a purpose build Design Office with the latest CAD software.
